Explore the energetic body through the lens of the Vayus, Bandhas, Breath, Chakras, and Koshas with master teacher Noelle Connolly, and special guests Sarah Routhier and Rachael Coopes.

The mystics and yogis of India and Tibet developed intricate systems for mapping the energetic body, following the flow of prana as it moves through our physical, mental, and spiritual space. These systems are tools that help us to move inward, identify and address imbalances within ourselves, and connect with our consciousness.

This 3 day training will teach you how to:
– Identify each of the energetic systems
– Understand their function and purpose
– Explore how they relate to one another
– Apply them to your practice
– Share them in your teaching, through sequencing, alignment, pranayama, assisting, and language

Who is it for?

Rare Energetics is for yoga teachers and experienced students who want to explore the energetic and subtle body, and learn how to apply these concepts in their practice and teaching.

About Noelle

With unrivalled passion for the yoga practice, over 15 years teaching, and thousands of hours on the mat, Philadelphia native Noelle Connolly is undoubtedly one of the world’s leading yoga teachers. Having integrated the structure and discipline of classical Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga combined with the mentorship and teachings of her beloved teachers: Maty Ezraty, Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor, Joan White, Joan Hyman and Simon Park; Noelle’s in-depth knowledge of the asana and how each one lives within the other is peerless.

The yoga teacher’s teacher, currently heading up the yoga program and teacher training program at Sydney’s Rare Studios, she has transformed the Sydney yoga landscape from a solid, but standard way of moving, to a more conscious, intelligent and inquisitive way of practicing and teaching. With a fierce love for her students and an uncanny ability to hold them accountable, the self-confessed closet comedienne uses classes to work on her material, infusing them with creativity, discipline and humour. Her greatest passion is presence, and because the yoga practice demands it, nothing fills her up more than watching her students become more present and conscious in their actions.
