Australia’s premier 200-hour training, grounded in real classrooms, real students, real teaching.
What really shapes you as a teacher isn’t a manual or a syllabus — it’s who you learn from, the rooms you practise in, and the community that walks beside you.
At Rare, our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is led by Australia’s premier teaching trio — Noelle Connolly, Rachael Coopes, and Sarah Routhier — inside our thriving Bondi and Surry Hills studios. This is a deeply immersive, life-changing training for those who want more than a certificate on the wall.

This guide unpacks the real questions most people keep to themselves—whether you have enough experience, whether you even want to teach, and what it means if you don’t feel like the “typical” yoga teacher.

That’s why who you learn from matters.

This means everything you learn is:
This isn’t a training built in a bubble. It’s a training built inside a busy, two-location studio community — with all the energy, questions, challenges, and breakthroughs that come with it.
Embark on an extraordinary 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, unparalleled in its depth and authenticity, designed for those seeking far more than a certification.
This program is a transformative journey into the heart of yoga, fostering genuine connection and empowering your unique voice as a student, teacher, and leader.
Through the 8-Limbed Path, you’ll explore:

All of it is enriched by hands-on application and deep inner work, rooted in the dynamic energy of Rare’s Bondi and Surry Hills studios.

Because the real growth happens:
Our aim is simple:
Not just learning — but becoming.
You don’t have to be the “advanced” person at the front of the room. You just need a sincere practice, a willingness to show up, and a desire to grow.
We’ve designed this training to be immersive and digestible — giving you time to absorb, integrate and live your practice between modules. This format allows for a deep dive into learning, followed by time away to digest and integrate what you’ve learned.

You’ll also be supported by members of the wider Rare teaching and assisting team, bringing an even richer mix of experience and perspectives into the room.
Not at all. Many people join simply to deepen their practice and understanding of yoga. Some discover they want to teach along the way, others don’t — both paths are welcome.
This training isn’t about being the bendiest person in the room. It’s about understanding bodies, breath and how to hold space. All bodies and levels are welcome.
You’ll graduate with the skills and confidence to teach inclusive, all-levels vinyasa classes — and you’ll have already practised teaching, assisting and sequencing in real time.
The training runs in person at Rare Yoga (Bondi & Surry Hills), with additional online content to support your learning and reflection between modules.
